Tractor Info

1964 - 1969

Oliver 1650 tractors were built in the 1964-69 period. As previously noted, many options were available, and this 1650 includes the single-front axle and the LP-gas conversion equipment. The latter was priced as a $400 extra-cost option, and apparently was fabricated only on customer orders, it does not appear that any number of LP-gas tractors were built as standard factory production. The single-front axle was also an option, as was the Hydra-Power drive; it added $383 to the base price. With the 1964 introuduction of the 1650 Oliver came the company’s new Certified Horsepower rating. Every 1650 coming off the assembly line was hooked to a dynamometer and was required to deliver no less than 66 pto horsepower before it could be shipped. A sticker was attached to each tractor certifying the oberved horsepower and the name of the inspector. As with other Oliver models, the 1650 was available in many different sytles and configurations.
