1970 - 1975

White-Oliver 1755 tractors were produced in the 1970-75 period. This model was also sold in 1971 as the Minneapolis G-850 tractor. Nebraska Test No. 1056 was run on the gasoline version, and it evidenced a PTO output of nearly 87 horsepower; the diesel model of Test No. 1057 was virtually identical. Both models used a six-cylinder engine rated at 2,400 rpm. The gasoline style carried a 3 3/4 x 4-inch bore and stroke for a displacement of 283 ci, while the diesel used a 3 7/8 x 4 3/8 inch bore and stroke for a 310 cid. The 1755 was available in many different axle configurations, including an optional four-wheel-drive system. With a diesel engine, the latter style carried a list price of over $16,000.
