Model Information
1918
Columbus Tractor Company resulted from the 1918 reorganization of the McIntyre Tractor Company of Columbus, Ohio. McIntyre had started out in a big way with the “ Farmer Boy” tractor — a combination tractor cultivator. The Farmer Boy used a four-cylinder Waukesha engine with a 3 3/4 inch bore and 5 1/4 inch stroke. A Holley carburetor and Kingston magneto were usual accessories. Columbus stayed in the market for only a short time.
