Specific information on Eagle engines is very hard to locate.
Eagle Fork Company was founded in 1881 by Richard Miller, John Kanouse, and William Polifka. The company employed 6 people and their product line included hay tools, horsepowers, and sawmill frames. Eagle Manufacturing Company was incorporated in 1888 for the purpose of manufacturing, buying, selling, repairing, and dealing in farm implements and hardware. In 1894, Richard Miller sold all of his shares to the Sailberlich brothers, and they began a different direction manufacturing silage cutters having interchangeable cutter plates. Due to struggles associated with the Great Depression, the company ended production in 1938 and in 1941 was sold to the Four Wheel Drive Auto Co.
