Aside from a 1900 advertising poster, nothing has been found relative to Hawkeye Iron Works. It indicates Johnson & Luethje as proprietors of the hrm, and also indicates that the company made and sold boilers, engines, and other items. In addition, (the company functioned as agents for Aultman & Taylor, Huber, and Port Huron steam engines. No specific information has been located on the Hawkeye gas engines.
