Struthers-Wells Company

Watten throttling governor engines of 1907 and following years included a two cylinder style. With sizes ranging from 35 to 200 horsepowerm these engines featured the heavy duty construction required for continuous service. The two cylinder engine was specially built for electric generator service adn carried an extra heavy flywheel for the ultimate in smooth operation. Other featurers of the special generaotr engine included a specialy governor designed to be extra sensitive to varying loads. Four huge bearings carried the crankshaft – it used fantail counter weighted in keeping with the best engineering practice Warren special electric engines were built only in 110 and 125 horsepower sizes.
