No information at all accompanied this 1905 advertisement for the Houle engine, except to say that it was “Built with High- Grade materials.” Many other small companies jumped into the engine business for a short time. Others were simply small companies that sold to a localized market, were satisfied with, sales, and did almost no advertising.
