Aermotor began building engines as early as 1906. Aermotor’s most attractive engine style was the fluted hopper engine.

The Aermotor Company began building all-steel windmills in 1888. The increased efficiency and permanency of steel windmills soon resulted in a huge manufacturing operation. Around 1909 the gas-powered Aermotor pumping engine appeared – a unique little outfit that was immensely popular.
