Aerothrust Engine Co

A high-tension magneto was featured on the Aerothrust engines along with air cooling being standard. Weighing 115 pounds, it sold for $125. A large 5-horsepower model was also available for $175. It was of the same two-cycle, two-cylinder opposed deign, using a 3 x 3 1/2 inch bore and stroke. Promo pumping outfits were also available, using a direct connected centrifugal pump. Little is heard of the company after 1917.

In late 1916, Aerothrust announced a 3-horsepower portable engine, marketed under the name “Pormo”. Of two-cycle design, it needed no gears, valves, or cams.
