A 1911 advertisement showing a two-cylinder vertical, two-cycle model of 4 horsepower. This design used a 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch bore and stroke. Although the engine was a marine style, the company made “a specialty of two-cylinder engines for running dynamos and other stationary work.”

Bicknell Hardware Co manufactured the Bicknell Handy Bench Punch around 1903. They were succeeded by Bicknell Manufacturing & Supply Company which was incorporated in 1906. The president was Raymond C. Bicknell.
