history

Blanchard Machine Company was founded in 1899. Originally in Boston, the company moved to Cambridge after a fire in 1904. In 1911, the company made a short-lived attempt into manufacturing gas engines. They then relocated to Windsor Vermont in 1972 and were changed to Cone-Blanchard Machine Company. They manufactured Cone automatic screw machines and Springfield vertical grinders.
