Bogart Gas Engine Company

Virtually nothing is known of the Bogart engine except for an 1892 advertisement in American Machinist magazine. Obviously, this engine was of two-cylinder design, but construction greatly resembled steam engine design. The governor is evidently of the steam engine style, as are the heavy crank disks and oversized pillow blocks. Nothing is known regarding the various sizes and models produced.
