history

Brennan Motor Mfg Co was founded by Patrick Brennan in 1865. Their company motto was “Simplicity and durability.” They began manufacturing bicycles and later turned to automobiles. Emmett Brennan, the eldest son, took over the company in 1934 after the death of his father, Patrick. Briefly from 1902 to 1908, they produced the Brennan automobile. When Emmett Brennan retired in 1972, the company closed its doors.
