Canadian Fairbanks-Morse Co.

By the early 1900s, Fairbanks-Morse, with corporate headquarters in Chicago, had established numerous manufacturing and distribution points in Canada. Along with the entire Fairbanks-Morse engine line, Canadian Fairbanks-Morse made a specialty of offering marine engines. In order to avoid heavy tariffs, parts were shipped to Canada and assembled there. Alternatively, many engines were fully built in Canada.
