Case Threshing Machine Co

Hor
sawmills, irrigation pumps, and other stationary applications, Case offered this 45 horsepower skid engine.
Actually it was identical to the power plant used in Case
25-45 tractors. A 5½×6¾ inch bore and stroke was featured with an operating speed of 850 RPM. Case continued the practice of providing stationary styles using various tractor engines for many years.

history

By 1913, Case had become established as a reputable gas tractor builder. Again the company ventured into the gas engine business, developing a series of modern engines.
Apparently this project was withdrawn prior to actual production. Shown here is a prototype of the 1½ horsepower model for 1913. Rugged construction is obvious. None are known to exist. During the 1920s, JI. Case once again entered the stationary engine business, this time using proven designs from the Case tractors. The Model AE, 20 horsepower skid engine was lightweight, but thoroughly reliable.
Sensitive
governors gave these engines a much faster response than heavy single cylinder styles. Regular features included a high tension magneto for easy starting.
