history

Clark double cylinder portable engines made an attractive outfit. Heavy steel channels carried the engine, terminating in an unusual cast iron arch, permitting extremely sharp turns. The battery box mounted above the arch also served as the drivers seat. These engines were built in 8, 12, 16, and 20 horsepower sizes. Clark Machine Company advertised their engines extensively from 1909 to 1911, but little appears after that time.
