Fay & Bowen Engine Co.

On July 20, 1907, a three-cylinder, 16-horsepower Fay & Bowen engine won the Chicago-Mackinac Endurance Race. The 332-mile run was completed in 36 3/4 hours in a 42×10 boat named the Swastika. (Those were the days when the swastika was still a politically acceptable symbol, and when boat racing was becoming a very popular sport).
