Gaeth engines of the early 1920s were offered in two, three, four, and six-cylinder models. All used a 5 3/4 x 8-inch bore and stroke, and all had an operating range of 400-600 rpm. The two-cylinder model was rated at 14 horsepower, weighed 1400 pounds, and sold for $1400. In contrast, the six-cylinder engine weighed 2800 pounds and sold for $2600. No illustrations of the Gaeth engines have been found.
Paul Gaeth added stationary engines to his bicycle business and manufactured an experimental steam car in 1898. His design for a gasoline automobile was unusual because it used a large 3-cylinder horizontal 25-30 hp engine.
