Augustus Q. Tucker founded the Hydraulic Press Manufacturing Company in 1877. Hydraulic presses were its original industry, as well as injection molding machines. They were acquired by Koehring Company in 1956 and sold to a group of employees and local investors in 1976. Stadco, Inc. acquired HPM in 1996 and was then purchased by Taylor’s Industrial Services, LLC in 2001. It was then acquired by the YIZUMI Precision Machinery Company in 2011.
