Joseph Van Blerck founded the Van Blerck Engine Company about 1916. Specific details are missing, but it appears that by 1921 the company went on building engines, but not with Joseph Van Blerck. He appears in 1921 as the president of J. V. B. Engine Company at Akron. After a few advertisements, the company disappears from view.
