One of the most unusual engine designs for 1905 was the Crane engine. It was advertised “for automobile, stationary, or marine work.” The company noted that the castings were made by William Cramp Ship & Engine Building Company. The design used four cylinders, with an opposed piston design.
Aside from a few advertisements, no other information has been located.
