One Minute Mfg. Co.

Established in 1901, the One Minute people began business building washing machines. An early catalog states: “When father bought mother he ONE MINUTE washer, he did the whole family a favor.” A small vertical two cycle engine designed especially for these washers was advertised in 1911. It was only built for a short time but the company remained in the washng machine business for several years, merging with Berman Mfg. Co. of Newton in 1913.

One Minute Mfg Co was founded around 1901. Their purpose was to make washing machines powered by gas engines. The firm ended in 1912 when it merged with the Bergman Mfg. Co.
