Theirs was a fairly conventional two-cycle design, from all appearances.
Even from the small amount of advertising, we have found, it appears that the Penrose motor was introduced in 1915, and quite possibly left the business during the same year. Oftentimes a small engine builder, especially of marine engines, simply didn’t stay in business long enough to produce a catalog.
