history

Probably built sometime in the 1900-1910 period, the odds are that production of this engine was quite limited. No advertisements or trade notes have been found. Trade journals of the day included “Trade Notes” or “New Companies” as small sections in every issue. Numerous trade papers also had a heading called “Catalogs Received”. We have gleaned much of our information from thousands of these listings over the years. No listings for Scott & Ewing have ever been found.
