There was another Toledo company at this time that was producing the “Utilitool” combination woodworking machine. This company was known as the Ar-Con Tool Co. Around 1930, the two companies merged and were renamed Sypher-Arcon Co.
Sypher began manufacturing inexpensive woodworking and metalworking machines and was active in the 1920s and 1930s.
