During production the company was
building diesels ranging from 250 to 2000 horsepower, and
claimed they already had a total of 33,000 horsepower in service.
There was no American manufacturing facility, only an
office on Morningside Drive in New York City.
By 1915 American engine builders were being seriously challenged
with large marine and stationary diesels from overseas.
Werkspoor was one such challenger, offering this big
generating plant in 1915.
