Some of its features of the Wood Electric engine bear slight
resemblance to the Fairbanks-Morse Type T
engine of the time, and in fact, Wood developed
this engine specifically for generator service.
Of the throttling governor style, it used
a Schebler carburetor. Few other details have
been found, so perhaps the end of the engine
came shortly after its birth.
In 1910 Wood announced their 3 horsepower
vertical engine; it was developed over the previous
two years.
