Model Information
1917-1920
Dauch Manufacturing Company designed a streamlined 10-20 model and announced it in January 1917. Although it was a modern-looking machine, one look at the chassis proved that heavy-duty design was not sacrificed. Also known as the Model J, it boasted a four-cylinder L-head engine, cast en bloc, with 4 1/4 x 5-inch cylinders. As with the 15-35, the engine was built by Dauch. In the 1917 announcement, the 10-20 was priced at $1,095, but listed at $1,500 in 1918 and 1919, with a further boost to $1,650 for 1920. Weight was 4,900 pounds. Dauch apparently ended tractor production in 1920, since no listings appear in the various implement journals for 1921 and later.
