The 1855 was a row crop tractor with an Oliver-Waukesha 5.1L six-cylinder diesel or Oliver-Waukesha 5.1L six-cylinder gasoline engine with 4×2 2WD or 4×4 MFWD 4WD and power steering, differential hydraulic disc brakes, six-speed gear transmission, eighteen-speed partial power shift transmission and an open operator station. A two-post ROPS and cab were optional. This model was the same as the Oliver 1855.
