Tractor Info

1971

The 2055 Oliver tractor was offered only in 1971. This model was virtually the same as the Minneapolis-Moline G-1050 tractor. In fact, it was built at Minneapolis, rather than Charles City. This model was sold as a Minneapolis-Moline model in the 1969-71 period. A big 504 cubic inch, six-cylinder engine was used; it caarried a 4 5/8 x 5 inch bore and stroke. Row-Crop and standard-tread versions were available, and the 2055 could be furnished with a diesel or a spark-ignition engine. Apparently the latter was offered primarily as an LP-gas model. The 2055 was capable of about 110 pto horsepower.
