Tractor Info

1916-1919

Lightweight tractors were added to the Russell line in late 1915. The first model was the Russell, Jr. Its four-cylinder Waukesha engine had a 4 1/2 x 5 3/4 inch bore and stroke, providing 12 drawbar and 24 brake horsepower. All gears were enclosed except for the final drive. The hooded engine and transmission gave a classy appearance. The 12-24 weighed 4,650 pounds and was capable of a 2,000-pound drawbar pull
