The 40 was a row crop tractor manufactured in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. It had multiple engine options including gas, diesel, LP gas, or distillate, using a Buda 230 cubic inch engine. A Perkins diesel was also offered in 1955 and sold as the Cockshutt 40PD and labeled the 40D4 Golden Eagle in the USA.
