The Oliver 66 was also available with a diesel engine. Production of this model began in 1951. It was also tested at Nebraska in October of that year, with the results being tallied in Test No. 467. Both row-crop and standard versions were built, as with the spark-fired models. The four-cylinder engine carried a 3 5/16 x 3 3/4 inch bore and stroke for a displacement of 129.3 ci. In 1954 this model sold for $2,300 as a row-crop, or for $1,863 in the standard-tread style.
