The 70 was a row crop tractor manufactured by Oliver in Charles City, Iowa. It had an Oliver 3.3L six-cylinder gasoline or Oliver 3.3L six-cylinder distillate engine. Both options were 4×2 2WD with manual steering, four-speed or six-speed transmissions, and an open operator station. Its variants included a row crop with narrow front wheels, a standard with a wide front axle, an orchard with wheel skirting and a low profile, and a high crop with high clearance.
