Tractor Info

1948-1954

Oliver 77 Orchard tractors were essentially built over the 77 Standard chassis. Every effort was made to remove obstructions from the hood and sides of the tractor that would snag tree branches, causing damage both to the trees and to the tractor. The Orchard 77 was available ordinarily with the HC gasoline engine and was priced at $2,270 in 1952. By comparison, the Orchard 77 Diesel sold for $2,807. A belt pulley came as standard equipment, thus increasing the usefulness of the tractor. All other options available for the 77 Standard were also available for the 77 Orchard in both the gasoline and the diesel versions.
