Tractor Info

1958 - 1961

Oliver 950, and 990 tractors were available in agricultural and industrial versions. Possibly the 995 was also available as an industrial model, although available data makes no indication one way or the other. The 990 was tested at Nebraska in July 1958 under No. 661. This model delivered a maximum pull of 12,629 pounds at the drawbar. The three-cylinder GM engine was of two-cycle design and used a 41/4 x 5-inch bore and stroke. In the 990 tractors, the engine was governed at 1,800 rpm, but in the 995 Lugmatic the governed speed was raised to 2,000 rpm
