Model Information
1917-1924
The Allwork 14-28 was built by EWC from 1917 to about 1924. It carried a 5 x 6-inch four-cylinder engine and maintained the same crocross mount design of previous models. The canopy was replaced with a hood over the engine. Unlike many tractor builders of the day, EWC used very few vendor items in their tractor. Engine, clutch, transmission, and final drives were all products of EWC. The 14-28 weight was 5,000 pounds. It was listed at $1,575 in 1920. By changing the engine to a 5 5-inch bore and 7-inch stroke, the 14-28 was re-rated to a 20-35 in 1923.
