In an effort to grab some of the small tractor market, E-B began offering the 9-16 model in 1917. Priced at $800 that year, the price rose to $1,125 by 1918– hardly competitive with the Fordson. Through 1920, E-B built the 9-16, but them discontinuded it. Weighing 4,260 pound, it featured a K-W magneto ignition and electric lights powere dby a K-W lighting generator.
