Tractor Info

1915

Stover built this prototype in 1915. Little is known about it — this photograph is about the only evidence that Stover was experimenting with tractors at the time, although the Mobiloil Lubrication Charts show it yet in mid-1916. Apparently, the gearing was enclosed except for the final drives. The scarcity of materials during wartime may have kept it off the market since Stover had a nationwide selling organization for their engines, feed grinders, and other machines.
