Tractor Info

1935-1938

In 1935 Oliver introduced its second model of row-crop tractor, the Oliver Hart-Parr 70. This was a 2-plow tractor that was powered by a 6-cylinder Continental engine. Equipped with a 4-speed transmission it provided speeds of 2.4, 3.3, 4.3, and 5.9 mph at the rated engine speed of 1,500 rpm. The streamlined Oliver 70 Standard was built in the 1937-48 period. This tractor had an electrical system complete with electric lights. This feature alone permitted many farmers to work late into the night when necessary.
