Model Information
1917
Hollis came along with their Type “M”, 15-25 tractor in 1917. It consisted of two front steering and driving wheels with two adjustable support wheels at the rear. Three forward speeds were provided, and the builders claimed the machine to have a 3,000-pound drawbar pull, even though the whole outfit only weighed 2,500 pounds. The Hollis was powered by a four-cylinder Light engine with a 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 inch bore and stroke. It sold for $975 in 1917 and disappeared from the scene in the early 1920s.
