Tractor Info

1917

A new “ Ideal” 15-30 gas tractor appeared in 1917 and attracted a lot of attention at the Brandon Plowing Demonstrations that year. The same heavy style engine was used in this model as formerly. Note the short wheel base used in this tractor compared to most other tractors of the day. G. S. & M. also offered Ideal gasoline engines, threshers, and windmills. “Maple Leaf” grain grinders, pumps, wood saws, and other machines were also built by G. S. & M. for many years.
