One of the best kept secrets of big horsepower!  The OMC was produced in Kansas by Ostenberg Motor Company.  They started early before the war with prototypes of “assembled” tractors from off the shelf parts.  When WWII was over, tractor demand was high and OMC met the market with a 6 cylinder Chrysler engine.  There were very few 6 cylinders at the time and their big powerplant was well received in the Kansas wheat fields.  As beautiful sounding as they are looking, there are only around a dozen OMC’s still left.
