Tractor Info

1915

By 1915, G. S. & M. was building this 15-25 “ Ideal” kerosene tractor, shown here pulling a five-bottom power lift engine gang. The traction wheel lugs bear a remarkable resemblance to Hart-Parr’s tractors. Ruggedness was a cardinal feature of G. S. & M. tractors, as evidenced by this model. It appears to have been greatly under-rated since it was ordinarily unthinkable to hook a 15-30 tractor to a five-bottom plow.
