Tractor Info

1920-1929

On the rated load test, the 35-70 Minneapolis developed
70.31 horsepower. Test No. 15 was conducted in 1920 by
the Agricultural Engineering Department at the University
of Nebraska, Lincoln. It was no slouch on the
drawbar either with a maximum pull of 10,998 pounds.
The 35-70 was really nothing more than a re-rated 40-80 —
this new rating resulting from the Nebraska Test. It remained
in production until the Minneapolis-Moline
merger of 1929.
