A gigantic Pioneer â”45″ was listed as late as 1913. With its six-cylinder engine, the “45” could handle alost any job. The drive wheels were 9 feet in diameter. Three forward speeds were available on the “30” and “45” models from two to six MPH. Dimensions included: Length, 21 feet; Width, 10 3/4 feet; and height, 12 feet. Imagine plodding down a road with a broken down team and seeing this outfit coming toward you at the breakneck speed of 6 MPH! A small four-cylinder Pioneer “Jr.” rated at 20 horsepower was also offered concurrently with the “30” and “45” models.
